You will translate corporate EHS requirements into site-specific systems and drive EHS alignment with corporate initiatives. The role requires a Bachelor’s in health and safety or environmental sciences, 5–7 years in manufacturing or regulatory settings, and strong leadership in a metrics-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health and safety or environmental sciences.
• Certified Safety Professional (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience with OSHA/EPA standards and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership in an accountability-driven culture with metric focus.
• ISO14001/18001 experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive EHS programs for the Jackson plant.
• Provide leadership and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Translate corporate EHS requirements into site-specific management systems and goals.
• Audit program participation, manage findings, and document corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders on regulatory issues.
• Drive EHS goals and culture through leadership and accountability at all levels.
• Act as the technical expert on EHS regulatory requirements.
