Job summary

Asure Software Inc. in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Director of Operations and Site Leader to oversee day-to-day operations of the Customer Support/Payroll Processing and Distribution teams, manage workflows, scheduling, and client service levels.

You will hire, coach, and develop staff; drive performance, ensure compliance, monitor metrics, and partner with Product and client teams to deliver high-quality payroll services for our diverse client base in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience managing Payroll/HCM Operations.
• 5 years of people management experience.
• 5 years’ experience of P&L management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; FPC/CPP certifications desired.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; client relations.
• Experience with Mangrove, Paychex, ADP, Workday or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the Customer Support/Payroll Processing and Distribution teams.
• Interview, hire and coordinate training of staff on procedures and systems.
• Coach and mentor staff to improve skills and knowledge.
• Provide consistent, frequent feedback on goals.
• Communicate with client companies and coordinate all customer service initiatives.
• Monitor services for quality, compliance, and data accuracy.
• Manage year-end projects and change requests; control costs and resources.
• Oversee all payroll service functions and resource allocation for calls, emails, and voicemails.
• Report on department metrics, client issues, revenue, and SLA adherence.
• Lead and monitor SOWs and variable charges for clients.
