Job summary

CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom Systems, Inc., is seeking a Level 2 Desktop Technician for onsite support in Greensburg, PA. The ideal candidate will diagnose and fix end-user hardware and software issues and may travel to local satellite offices for support.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency with Windows 11 and O365. ServiceNow is used to track incidents and requests, with duties including meeting room equipment management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper day-to-day operation of applications and equipment and troubleshoot on-site software and hardware issues on laptops, tablets, workstations and peripherals.
• Resolve higher level support to servers and/or network equipment or perform updates, repairs, upgrades, backups and other maintenance tasks.
• Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support.
• Troubleshoot system, office, hardware and business applications.
• Manage and install equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, videoconference).
• Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client-provided ServiceNow tool.

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Desktop Technician to join their teamonsite in Greensburg, PA and provide support. The ideal candidate is expected to be helpful, relatable, and pleasant while diagnosing and fixing problems for end users. Occasional travelling may be required to local satellite offices for support.

Wage Range:
The rate for this position is between$19.50 - $26.00 per hour, unlesslocal minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
