Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our client’s team onsite in Rutland, VT. The role focuses on end-user support, hardware imaging, and proactive issue resolution to ensure business continuity.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3+ years of PC hardware/software experience, proficiency with PowerShell and Intune, and familiarity with Office 365 and imaging. You will work closely with end users and IT teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 3+ years of experience supporting PC hardware and software.
• Solid desktop fundamentals with experience in PowerShell, Intune, and system administration.
• Experience with Office 365, Windows 10 Pro, imaging, and ticketing systems.
• Experience working in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user desktop support onsite at the customer site.
• Repair, test, image, and clean PCs, laptops, monitors, printers and related hardware.
• Configure and add hardware; manage asset inventory and IMAC events.
• Handle tickets via ServiceNow and ensure follow-up where needed.
• Assist with server equipment maintenance, backups, and security procedures.
• Troubleshoot network hardware and perform basic network administration tasks.
