Job summary
STI is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide 100% on-site hardware and software assistance to in-house teams in Trenton, NJ. You will respond to help desk tickets in person, troubleshoot PC/Laptop/Tablet issues, and configure new workstations, peripherals, and user accounts.
Imaging, encryption, and deployment of re-imaged computers are included in daily duties. You will work with Windows 10/11, Office 365, SCCM imaging, remote assistance tools, and security features like BitLocker and
Qualifications
- Hands-on Deskside PC/Laptop/Tablet support experience.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 troubleshooting.
- Dell PC hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Troubleshooting peripheral devices.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
- Imaging computers and SCCM setup.
- Experience with remote assistance tools.
- Experience with Office 365 (Teams, Email, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience with Computrace (Absolute).
- Experience with BitLocker drive encryption.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site hardware and software support to in-house users.
- Respond to help desk tickets in person and guide users through problem-solving.
- Imaging and deploying new computers; encrypting drives as needed.
- Configure workstations, peripherals, and user accounts for staff.
- Coordinate with IT teams and escalate urgent issues when required.
