Job summary

STI is seeking a Helpdesk Coordinator to provide first-line support for Microsoft applications, diagnose issues, and explain solutions clearly to end users.

On-site training is required for the first weeks at 25 Market St, Trenton, NJ. The schedule is M-F, 8:30–4:30, with eventual two remote days after training; 35-hour work week.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year college degree or equivalent technical study and excellent communication skills; training on AOC procedures will be provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and related tools; familiarity with Windows Server/Active Directory and Office 365.
• Experience using Excel, Word and Visio; strong communication skills are essential.
• 2-year college degree or technical study preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day operating environment knowledge and available tools.
• Maintain knowledge of Help Desk and IT Operations procedures.
• Log all incoming problems and requests and actions taken to resolve them.
• Provide first response help desk support to all customers and users.
• Assist in site support and project-specific assignments; troubleshoot and resolve problems and satisfy requests.
• Provide support for AOC business applications.
• Provide follow-up status to end-users in accordance with specified support policies and procedures.
• Ensure closed problems are adequately documented.
