Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking an Onsite Desktop Support Engineer for a full-time role in the UK. You will provide hands-on technical support across a busy customer environment, resolve incidents to SLA, and ensure timely delivery of requests.

A strong customer-focused mindset and ITSM familiarity are essential. The role requires Windows 10/11 proficiency, network concepts, and broader IT infrastructure knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, including build and configuration.
• Experience with IT incident handling and service requests.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and user-focused service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Undertake incident and request tasks.
• 2nd line responsibility for resolving incidents to SLA.
• Maintain a <2% incident per month target.
• Complete assigned work within allocated timeframes.
• Undertake Project Tasks in support of Project Managers.
• Handle Non-Standard Requests within agreed timescales.
• Coordinate with Level 3 teams to address major issues.
• Resolve issues for laptop/desktop hardware, networks, printers, etc.
• Install & configure software and hardware.
