Job summary
Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across a busy customer environment. You will resolve incidents, fulfill service requests and ensure users receive a responsive, high-quality support experience.
Location: King's Lynn, Norfolk (onsite full time). You will undertake incident tasks, maintain SLA targets, and coordinate with Level 3 teams to resolve issues, while supporting Project Managers and handling non-standard requests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in desktop support within a corporate IT environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with Windows OS deployment and troubleshooting.
- SC clearance or willingness to obtain.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of incidents and requests.
- 2nd line support to resolve incidents to SLA.
- Maintain a <2% incident per month target.
- Complete assigned works within allocated timeframes.
- Support Project Managers on projects.
- Handle Non-Standard Requests tasks to agreed timescales.
- Coordinate with Level 3 teams on major issues.
- Troubleshoot laptop/desktop hardware, networks, printers, etc.
- Install & configure software and hardware.
