Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in Fishkill, NY to deliver on-site end-user technology support in a fast-paced environment. You will diagnose hardware, software, and application issues while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires strong Windows troubleshooting, Office 365 proficiency, Active Directory familiarity, and experience with ticketing systems. This is a 100% onsite, five days a week position with W2 pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in Desktop Support, Technical Support, IT Support, or End User Support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Active Directory user administration.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for end users.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Diagnose and resolve Windows operating system and Microsoft application problems.
• Support Office 365 and enterprise productivity tools.
• Research, troubleshoot, resolve, or escalation incidents through established support processes.
• Track and manage incidents using a ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
• Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders throughout the support lifecycle.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution.
• Support device deployments, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives.
