Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support in a busy customer environment in Dunfermline. You will resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and ensure high-quality user support.

The role requires strong Windows OS knowledge, familiarity with ITSM tools, and LAN/WAN networking. UK driving license and SC clearance may be required. Onsite full-time position with Project support duties.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows 10/11 setup, config and registry basics.
• Basic exposure to SCCM and Active Directory management.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN, VPN and wireless networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents and service requests, resolving to SLA.
• Act as 2nd line support for complex issues and coordinate with Level 3 teams.
• Install and configure software/hardware on laptops and desktops.
• Support internal/external project tasks and adhere to timelines.
