Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our Project Controls team for data center projects, on-site in Spartanburg, SC. You will develop, maintain, and analyze integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and handover processes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in scheduling, strong Primavera expertise, and experience with EPC/EPCM environments, to drive schedule certainty and readiness for handover to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of project scheduling experience on mission-critical facilities or data centers.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Experience with resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
• Knowledge of mechanical completion, systems turnover, commissioning, startup, and ops readiness.
• Ability to facilitate planning workshops and coordinate across stakeholders.
• Strong communication of schedule status, risks, and recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud
• Work closely with commissioning managers and startup teams to develop commissioning execution schedules and turnover plans
• Analyze schedule impacts resulting from scope, design, procurement, construction, or commissioning changes
• Facilitate schedule development, planning, and progress review meetings with project stakeholders
• Establish project WBS, coding structures, and schedule governance processes
• Review and validate schedule logic, durations, constraints, calendars, and critical path activities
• Perform progress updates, forecasting, variance analysis, and schedule health assessments
• Support IAP sessions, pull-planning workshops, and execution planning activities
• Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and management presentations for project leadership and clients
• Participate in client meetings and planning sessions to communicate schedule performance, risks, and recovery strategies
