Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our Project Controls team for a data center project in Spartanburg, SC. You will develop, maintain, and analyze integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup.

You will collaborate with management and clients, drive schedule risk assessments, lead planning workshops, and report progress with dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years of project scheduling experience supporting mission-critical facilities, data centers, advanced technology facilities, or large-scale industrial projects.
• Data center project experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of EPC/EPCM project execution.
• Experience developing and maintaining resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
• Strong understanding of mechanical completion, systems turnover, commissioning, startup, integrated systems testing, and operational readiness processes.
• Experience performing critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments.
• Ability to facilitate planning workshops and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to communicate schedule status, risks, and recommendations to project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Work with commissioning managers and startup teams to develop commissioning execution schedules and turnover plans.
• Analyze schedule impacts from scope, design, procurement, construction, or commissioning changes.
• Facilitate schedule development, planning, and progress review meetings with project stakeholders.
• Establish project WBS, coding structures, and schedule governance processes.
• Review and validate schedule logic, durations, constraints, calendars, and critical path activities.
• Perform progress updates, forecasting, variance analysis, and schedule health assessments.
• Support IAP sessions, pull-planning workshops, and execution planning activities.
• Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and management presentations for leadership and clients.
• Participate in client meetings to communicate schedule performance, risks, and recovery strategies.
