Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our Project Controls team for a data center project on-site in Spartanburg, SC. You will develop, maintain, and report integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and project closeout.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in mission-critical scheduling, strong Primavera P6 expertise, and a solid understanding of EPC/EPCM execution, with a focus on turnover and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project scheduling experience on mission-critical facilities or data centers.
• Experience supporting commissioning-intensive projects such as data centers and advanced manufacturing facilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6; strong EPC/EPCM understanding.
• Experience developing resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules.
• Strong knowledge of systems turnover, commissioning, startup, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud.
• Coordinate with commissioning and startup teams to plan turnover and commissioning execution.
• Analyze schedule impacts from scope, design, procurement, construction, or commissioning changes.
• Lead planning meetings with project stakeholders and establish scheduling governance.
• Create WBS, coding structures, and review schedule logic, durations, and calendars.
• Provide progress updates, forecasting, variance analysis, and schedule health assessments.
• Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and client presentations.
• Communicate schedule performance, risks, and recovery plans in client meetings.
