Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer to join our on-site construction management team. You will coordinate with regional contractors and internal teams, manage RFIs and change orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials for data center projects.

You will oversee QA programs, maintain dashboards for design changes, and support safe, efficient construction execution on AWS data centers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Leading cross-functional communication and coordination between regional general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring seamless information flow for construction protocols, documentation access, and standardized procedures
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive tracking systems for design modifications, RFIs, and change orders, creating detailed dashboards with priority levels and deadlines for regional leadership review
• Evaluating Method of Procedure (MOP) submissions for thoroughness, necessity, and risk assessment
• Managing vendor onboarding processes, including security credentialing and orientation programs
• Maintaining current project management software with critical milestone updates, correspondence records, and document control
• Coordinating and monitoring owner-furnished material deliveries to ensure timely arrival at construction sites
• Establishing and managing a centralized repository for contractor-supplied construction data
• Overseeing quality assurance programs through implementation of various checklists, including substantial completion verification, safety protocols, and quality control measures
