Job summary

Amazon AWS is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer in New Carlisle, IN to join on-site construction teams responsible for design, planning, delivery, and operation of data center infrastructure. You will coordinate with Operations, Networking, Security, and commissioning teams to ensure timely, high-quality construction outcomes.

The role emphasizes communication with general contractors, design modifications, RFIs, change orders, and quality control to support scalable, energy-efficient data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant discipline work experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience constructing and managing complex MEP systems in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional communication between regional general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain tracking systems for design modifications, RFIs, and change orders with dashboards for leadership review.
• Evaluate Method of Procedure submissions for thoroughness and risk.
• Manage vendor onboarding, including security credentialing and orientation.
• Maintain project management software with milestone updates and document control.
• Coordinate and monitor owner-furnished material deliveries to sites.
