Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer in New Albany, OH to support on-site construction management, coordinating with vendors, general contractors, and internal teams across design reviews, RFIs, change orders, and scheduling to deliver world-class data centers.

You will ensure safety, quality, and documentation standards are met, manage material deliveries, and maintain dashboards and records, while communicating progress to regional leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of vendor management experience
• 4+ years of data center or critical environment experience
• 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional communication between regional contractors, stakeholders and internal teams
• Develop and maintain dashboards for RFIs, design mods and change orders
• Evaluate methods of procedure (MOP) submissions for adequacy and risk
• Coordinate vendor onboarding including security credentialing
• Maintain project management software with milestone updates and document control
• Track owner-furnished material deliveries and schedule updates
• Manage centralized repository for contractor-provided construction data
• Oversee quality assurance programs and safety compliance
