Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer to support on-site construction management for AWS data centers. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage RFIs and change orders, and ensure timely delivery of data center components.

You will work closely with operations, networking, controls, and security teams to uphold safety, quality, and schedule milestones across construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Leading cross-functional communication and coordination between regional general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Developing and maintaining tracking systems for design changes, RFIs, and change orders with dashboards for leadership review.
• Evaluating Method of Procedure (MOP) submissions for thoroughness, necessity, and risk assessment.
• Managing vendor onboarding processes, including security credentialing and orientation programs.
• Maintaining current project management software with milestone updates, correspondence records, and document control.
• Coordinating owner-furnished material deliveries to ensure timely arrival at sites.
• Establishing and managing a centralized repository for contractor-supplied construction data.
• Overseeing quality assurance programs through checklists, safety protocols, and QC measures.
