Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager for a Data Center campus in Virginia. This onsite role requires being on site five days per week and supporting properties with repairs, maintenance planning, and coordination with vendors.

The candidate will indirectly supervise maintenance technicians and vendors and should have facilities coordination or maintenance planning experience. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with strong MS Office and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to analyze solutions using technical experience to apply judgment and precedent.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage painting and patchwork projects.
• Lead major repairs of architectural items, cabinets, doors, and windows.
• Direct installation of shelving and related fixtures.
• Be the point of contact for front-line clients on requests.
• Coordinate with trades personnel on maintenance tasks and preventative work.
• Apply standard procedures to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
• Work within standardized practices to meet deadlines.
• Explain complex information clearly to others.
