Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee building operations for a portfolio of properties. The role includes managing maintenance, coordinating moves and changes, and supervising staff and vendors to ensure timely, compliant service.

The position requires strong communication, organizational and financial skills, with experience in capital projects and budget preparation. A related degree and certifications are preferred, and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; four years of related experience or training.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred with focus on business, technical or management areas.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Driver's license may be required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
• Ability to account for financial terms and conduct basic financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients; attends client meetings.
• Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work by technicians, vendors and contractors.
• Reviews work orders to ensure that assignments are completed.
• Coordinates and manages moves, adds and change activities.
• Obtains and reviews price quotes for procurement of parts, services and labor for projects.
• Manages capital projects; prepares budgets and variance reports.
• Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order and billing procedures; processes invoices.
• Provides process and procedure training.
• Conducts financial/business analysis including preparation of reports.
• Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work by technicians, vendors and contractors.
• Other duties may be assigned.
