Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to drive delivery of network infrastructure and cabling projects at a designated site.

You will collaborate with the site team and PMs to create schedules, allocate resources, and ensure targets for schedule, cost, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are met. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 1–3+ years in construction management, data centers, or cabling, with strong MS Office skills and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management, or similar.
• 1-3+ years of direct work experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling.
• Track record of delivering mission critical programs on time, within budget, and to safety standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; contract negotiation and administration experience is a plus.
• Experience building and leading teams; client engagement experience preferred.
• PMI/PMBOK or PMP certification preferred; BICSI RCDD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish program schedule and monitor targets for scope, cost, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Consult with clients, deliver presentations, and resolve project issues.
• Prepare contracts, negotiate revisions, and manage changes with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule and budget; track costs.
• Lead project team and coordinate with design, construction, and vendor partners.
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
