AMroute LLC seeks a Data Center Operations/Onsite Support Engineer for 2080 hours of on-site work in Memphis, TN. The assignment runs from 10/26/2026 to 10/15/2027, with no remote option and weekend/holiday coverage as required.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware repair, server maintenance, and proof of excellent customer communication while collaborating with the onsite team and Dell support to triage and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be US citizen or Green Card holder.
• Comfortable performing hardware repair tasks on-site.
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds and work from a ladder.
• Strong customer service and written/verbal communication.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Ticket management and case tracking for data-center incidents.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with Dell support.
• Provide strong customer service and clear communication.
• Work collaboratively within onsite team in a dynamic environment.
• Lift up to 65 pounds and work on a ladder as needed.
• Maintain accurate runbooks, serial numbers, and environment docs.
• Coordinate with colocation teams for power, cooling, and facility maintenance.
• Assist with OS installation, firmware updates, and hardware deployment.
• Monitor servers proactively and notify customers of issues.
• Open and manage service requests and coordinate break/fix activities.
• Escalate and coordinate with field engineers as required.
