Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer to join the onsite Construction Management team in the Northwest Region of LA.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams including general contractors and internal groups to ensure timely delivery of data center construction, manage RFIs and changes, and maintain rigorous documentation workflows on site. Daily on-site work, extensive collaboration with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning partners, and

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in large construction programs.
• Proficiency with design mods, RFIs, and change orders tracking.
• Ability to evaluate Method of Procedure (MOP) submissions for thoroughness and risk.

Responsibilities

• Leading cross-functional communication and coordination between regional general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring seamless information flow for construction protocols, documentation access, and standardized procedures
• Developing and maintaining tracking systems for design changes, RFIs, and change orders with dashboards for leadership review
• Managing vendor onboarding, including security credentialing and orientation programs
• Maintaining project management software with milestone updates, correspondence, and document control
• Coordinating owner-furnished material deliveries and centralized contractor data repositories
• Overseeing QA programs with checklists for substantial completion, safety, and quality control
