Job summary

Salute is seeking a highly skilled Critical Facility Engineer II to join our onsite team in Royse City, TX. You will oversee critical infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems, to ensure top uptime for mission‑critical servers.

You will perform planned and corrective maintenance, follow SOPs/MOPs/EOPs, and engage with clients and vendors to maintain operations and compliance. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on data center equipment operation and maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certifications welcomed.
• Proficiency with electrical and mechanical systems, NEC/NFPA/OSHA knowledge.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills and calm decision making under pressure.
• Experience with CMMS, work orders, and coordinating vendor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems to >99.999% uptime.
• Perform planned preventive and corrective maintenance per SOPs/MOPs/EOPs.
• Execute safety programs including LOTO, NFPA 70E compliance, and site safety.
• Lead inspections, environmental checks, and manage indoor air quality responses.
• Own WR/WO lifecycle, document root causes, and ensure quality completions.
