Job summary

Salute is hiring a Critical Facility Engineer I (CFE I) to support mission‑critical data center infrastructure, including monitoring, first‑line troubleshooting, and day‑to‑day preventive maintenance. This onsite role in Royse City, TX requires partnering with senior staff and vendors to ensure SLA compliance and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of directly related experience in the operation, installation, and maintenance of data center critical equipment or commercial/industrial building systems

Responsibilities

• Safety at the top of every task and adherence to LOTO, PPE, and NFPA 70E
• Monitor, operate, and respond to abnormal conditions; conduct watch rounds and inspections
• Perform planned and ad‑hoc preventive maintenance per SOPs and MOPs
• Maintain CMMS knowledge: creating, tracking, and closing work requests and work orders
• Provide rapid initial response, investigation, and escalation of indoor emergencies and alarms
• Coordinate access for third‑party contractors, vendors, and carriers
• 24x7x365 shift operations—able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
