Job summary

Salute, a leading Data Center Infrastructure Services provider, seeks a Critical Facility Engineer I (CFE I) to support hyperscale clients onsite in Royse City, TX. The role emphasizes safety, monitoring, and proactive maintenance to uphold SLAs.

You will conduct site rounds, maintain equipment rooms, and coordinate with vendors under supervision, with relocation assistance for local candidates. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a 24x7 operation schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0–2 years in data center or building systems operation.
• GED and 2+ years of trade or vocational experience in electrical/HVAC.
• Foundational knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety.

Responsibilities

• Safety first, adhere to LOTO, PPE, NFPA 70E.
• Monitor building systems and respond to abnormal conditions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per SOPs/MOPs.
• Maintain CMMS work orders and track status.
• Escort vendors and manage access to site.
• Support 24x7x365 shift operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
