Job summary

Trinity Services Group in Natchez, MS is seeking a Food Service Director to lead a single-site kitchen inside a correctional facility. You will direct operations, staff, and financials to ensure safe, compliant food service.

You will report to the District Manager and be responsible for hiring, training, payroll oversight, and maintaining inventory and records. A strong leader with ServSafe and a background in institutional food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
• Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience managing kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and ability to complete reports.
• Preference for institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served as per plan.
• Hire, orient, train, and issue corrective actions to team members.
• Review payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Ensure staff are trained for safe job performance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain product service quality and sanitary standards.
• Maintain onsite financial, production, and activity reports.
• Cooperate with state inspections and other duties as needed.
