Job summary

Trinity Services Group in Natchez, MS is seeking a Food Service Director to lead a single-site jail kitchen operation. You will oversee staff, manage payroll, ensure sanitation, and maintain compliance with Health Department codes.

This onsite role reports to the District Manager and offers premium benefits and growth opportunities. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, at least five years of management experience in food service, ServSafe certification, and proven ability to lead

Qualifications

• Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary reports.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served according to plan.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective actions to team members.
• Review payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Ensure staff are trained to perform responsibilities safely.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items and maintain service quality.
• Maintain sanitary environment per food service and Health Department codes.
• Maintain onsite reports of daily and monthly financial, production and activity.
• Responsible for state inspections of the food service operation.
