Tecknomic LLC is hiring a Controls Engineer in Georgetown, KY, onsite only. You will lead electrical design for stamping presses, and drive automation upgrades including PLC, Safety PLC, and HMI work.

Responsibilities include programming, hardware layouts, and risk assessments to support bids, installation, and commissioning. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, strong PLC experience (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens), and AutoCAD Electrical proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering/technologies, technician degree, or equivalent work experience.
• PLC programming experience on Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens is a must.
• AutoCAD Electrical experience and electrical hardware design/modification experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical design on presses and automation upgrades.
• Create/modify PLC programs on multiple controllers.
• Create/modify Safety PLC programs and HMI programs.
• Create/modify hardwire/panel/field device layouts.
• Perform risk assessments for bids and installation timing.
