Job summary

HMS Products Co. seeks a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and commission control systems in a stamping environment. You will work with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Rexroth platforms and create AutoCAD Electrical schematics to support manufacturing and automation projects.

The role requires hands-on PLC programming, electrical design, and strong problem-solving. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure safety standards, and contribute to ongoing improvements on the plant

Qualifications

• Hands-on PLC programming and electrical design experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems.
• Experience with stamping processes or stamping plants is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or equivalent.
• Familiar with HMI development and plant networks.
• Knowledge of safety systems and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems using multiple platforms.
• Create and maintain AutoCAD Electrical schematics and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and optimize electrical circuits and control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and automation projects.
• Participate in commissioning, testing, and validation of control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Self motivated with high morals and ethics of work. Works and accomplish tasks with few directions and minimal supervision.
