JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is hiring a Controls Engineer II to design, implement and document control systems for automated equipment in Holland, MI. This onsite role requires coordinating with build and electrical teams, and traveling to customer sites up to 25% for installation and startup.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years in automation, PLC/robotics experience, and proficiency with HMI, AutoCAD, and motion control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience in automation control.
• Experience with PLCs, HMI, robot automation and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and document control systems for automated equipment.
• Electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic design and machine PLC programming.
• Coordinate debugging, power-up and validation with build teams.
