JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Controls Engineer II in Greenville, SC to design, implement, and document controls for automated equipment. You’ll troubleshoot robot controllers and electrical systems, perform power-ups and debugging, and ensure designs meet specifications.

Travel up to 35–50% to customer sites and JR locations; a background in Electrical Engineering and CAD tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an associate degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion control, or vision systems.
• Familiar with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks.
• Willingness to travel up to 35–50% to customer sites and JR locations.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and document controls systems for automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot robot controllers, ladder logic, electrical control devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Perform machine power-ups, debugging and programming.
• Ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques.
