Job summary

Ironsite is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to bring software to the field. You’ll write code, build integrations, and ship tools directly on job sites, embedding with Deployment Operators and customers to understand real workflows and drive data-to-decision systems.

You’ll connect field data to cost codes, schedules, and reporting, ensuring deployments are reliable and scalable while collaborating with Product, Hardware, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to ship impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building software in production.
• Stack includes Python, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Autonomy on site and in-field problem solving.
• Strong communication with both engineers and field superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship integrations between Ironsite's platform and customer systems (scheduling tools, PM platforms, and internal reporting).
• Map Ironsite's capture and labels to each contractor's WBS and labor codes for cost/schedule alignment.
• Build internal tooling to accelerate deployments, labeling, and analytics.
• Prototype quickly on site and harden successful solutions into production.
• Partner with Deployment Operators to scope integrations and ensure end-to-end delivery.
