Job summary

Istari Digital is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to be embedded inside customer organizations, delivering real software solutions rather than pure support. You’ll architect integrations, write production code, and tackle challenges at the intersection of digital engineering workflows and mission-critical operations.

You’ll work with program managers in customer environments, own technical execution, and shape how Istari’s platform adds value across CAD, CFD, FEM pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production-grade code.
• Hands-on experience with CAD, CFD, FEM or related simulation tools.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Willingness to work on-site with customers in U.S. defense/aerospace contexts.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customer engineering teams to understand workflows, data environments and constraints.
• Architect and build software integrations that connect Istari's platform to CAD/CFD/FEM pipelines.
• Serve as the primary technical interface for the customer and proactively identify where our software can drive more value.
• Develop, test, and maintain integrations and workflow solutions following modern software engineering practices.
• Translate field experience into actionable product insights and contribute to roadmap discussions.
