Job summary

Skanska is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead on-site field operations in Boston, MA. You will supervise crews, ensure safety and quality, and manage short-term schedules while coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes leadership, organization, and client-facing communication, with the ability to track change orders, labor costs, and project documentation on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction experience.
• 3+ years’ experience administering safety and QC policies.
• 1+ year working with schedule milestones and look-ahead schedules.
• 1+ year assisting with job site logistics and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field crew supervision and ensure contract compliance.
• Inspect subcontractor work and maintain site quality controls.
• Develop and manage site logistics and short-term schedules.
• Monitor labor and material costs and prepare daily reports.
• Mentor team members to promote safe, injury-free operations.
