Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support on-site field operations, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and profitable project delivery in Boston, MA. Reporting to the Superintendent, you’ll supervise crews, enforce the Safety and Health Management Program, and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in construction and safety/QC administration; familiarity with plans and specs, and experience with

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven construction experience.
• 3+ years administering safety and QC policies with the Skanska culture.
• 1+ year with schedule milestones and look-ahead schedules.
• 1+ year assisting with job site logistics and management.
• 1+ year tracking COs and tickets.
• 1+ year working with plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision of field crews.
• Inspect subcontractor work for contract compliance.
• Develop and maintain site logistics and short-term schedules.
• Monitor labor and material costs.
• Prepare superintendent daily reports and participate in meetings.
• Mentor team members to support a safe environment.
