Job summary

The ideal candidate should possess over 10 years of experience in field supervision, particularly with multi-family and concrete podium projects. A Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License and OSHA certification are required.

Job description

On behalf of an industry-leading, multi-billion-dollar multifamily owner-developer, we are seeking a seasoned Project Superintenden t in the city of Boston. This position serves as the authority on the job site, providing comprehensive field direction to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of luxury finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Operations & Strategy: Partner directly with the internal Project Management team to execute pre-construction planning, job site setup, and comprehensive site logistics
• Subcontractor Governance: Manage and direct all trade Subcontractors on-site. Establish clear production commitments, resolve sequencing conflicts, and hold trade partners accountable to the master schedule
• Quality Assurance & Turnover: Serve as the primary on-site Quality Control Manager. Oversee the inspection process, drive rigorous punch lists, manage trade-to-trade handoffs, and lead final unit acceptance walks for ownershi
• p.Schedule & Workforce Management: Drive the master construction schedule, establish short-term look-ahead schedules, and conduct daily field alignment meetings. Coordinate utility connections and municipal inspections
• Safety Leadership: Enforce strict compliance with OSHA regulations, site-specific safety plans, and corporate risk management policies

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of dedicated field supervision experience, with a proven track record on large-scale, multi-family residential, concrete podium projects.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), and finishing phases, with the ability to read and interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings.
• Skills: Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, and subcontractor management skills. Strong mathematical competence for site calculations and high proficiency with modern construction field-management software
• Licensing: OSHA 30-hour certification required. A Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License (CSL) is highly preferred.
