Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a General Superintendent to lead on-site construction projects, manage field foremen, and ensure safety and quality standards. The role focuses on timely delivery, budget adherence, and coordination with trades and material deliveries.

The candidate should have strong leadership, communication skills, and a solid background in commercial construction and steel erection. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of commercial construction and steel erection.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment.
• Experience operating equipment such as transit, laser level, and torpedo levels.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage on-site construction projects and field foremen.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure safety precautions are followed on-site.
• Coordinate weekly look-a-head schedules to anticipate issues or delays.
• Attend on-site project meetings focusing on safety, quality, scheduling, and production.
• Coordinate with other trades and schedule material deliveries to the job site.
• Address non-conformances and issue corrective actions as needed.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and submit RFIs and as-built drawings.
