Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. seeks an experienced General Superintendent to lead on-site construction projects and field foremen. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time performance while coordinating trades and material deliveries.

Ideal candidates have steel erection knowledge, proven leadership, strong communication, and a valid driver's license to operate across sites. This role emphasizes problem-solving and hands-on supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of commercial construction and steel erection.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with relevant field tools and equipment.
• Experience and knowledge operating transit, laser level, and torpedo levels.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage on-site construction projects and field foremen
• Ensure projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Promote a culture of safety among the team, and ensure that all safety precautions are followed on-site
• Coordinate weekly look-a-head schedules to anticipate any potential issues or delays
• Attend on-site project meetings, including those focused on safety, quality, scheduling, and production
• Coordinate with other trades and schedule material deliveries to the job site
• Address non-conformances, issuing corrective actions as needed
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site and submit RFIs and complete as-built drawings

• Oversee and manage on-site construction projects and field foremen
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Promote a culture of safety among the team, and ensure that all safety precautions are followed on-site
• Coordinate weekly look-a-head schedules to anticipate any potential issues or delays
• Attend on-site project meetings, including those focused on safety, quality, scheduling, and production
• Coordinate with other trades and schedule material deliveries to the job site
• Address non-conformances, issuing corrective actions as needed
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) and complete as-built drawings

EXPERIENCE

• A solid understanding of commercial construction and steel erection
• Previous leadership experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to effectively convey information, delegate tasks, and address any concerns that may arise
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment
• Experience and knowledge in operating equipment such as transit, laser level, and torpedo levels
• Valid driver's license required
