Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a General Superintendent to lead on-site construction projects and supervise field foremen. You will ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will promote safety, coordinate weekly look-ahead schedules, attend project meetings, manage trades and material deliveries, and address issues with RFIs and as-built drawings. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of commercial construction and steel erection.
• Ability to lead and manage on-site teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for delegation and concerns.
• Proficiency with common field tools and equipment.
• Knowledge operating transit, laser level and torpedo levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage on-site construction projects and field foremen.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality.
• Promote a culture of safety and enforce precautions on-site.
• Coordinate weekly look-ahead schedules to anticipate delays.
• Attend on-site meetings focusing on safety, quality, scheduling and production.
• Coordinate with trades and schedule material deliveries to site.
• Address non-conformances and issue corrective actions as needed.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and submit RFIs and as-built drawings.
