Actalent in Newtown, PA seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support Commercial and Higher Education construction projects on active sites, guiding projects from preconstruction through closeout with field and office teams.

You will track RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and costs, coordinate with subcontractors and owners, and help manage procurement, meetings, and documentation using Procore or similar tools.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Support Project Managers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle: preconstruction, active construction, closeout.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other docs.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and identify critical path activities.
• Support budgeting and cost management, forecasting and identifying cost impacts.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and ownership teams.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes of work, and subcontractor proposals for consistency.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout and procurement, including bids and contract awards.
• Participate in coordination meetings and document decisions and action items.
• Track progress, identify risks, delays and cost issues, escalate as needed.
• Support punch list, commissioning, turnover, and closeout documentation.
• Maintain documentation in PM systems and construction software.
• Collaborate with field teams to resolve design and constructability issues.
