Job summary

Stellar in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily field office operations and the project. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades under the Superintendent's direction.

The successful candidate will oversee drawings and specs, monitor safety and quality, travel as needed, and collaborate with other departments to keep the construction schedule on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years in construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily operations of the onsite construction department.
• Ensure all construction activities meet high standards.
• Oversee coordination of all trades, including subcontractors, per Superintendent's direction.
• Maintain and distribute up-to-date drawings and specifications.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies and equipment.
• Support QA and safety programs for the project.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure workmanship and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
