Job summary

Stellar, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily field office operations and ensure construction activities meet high standards.

You will assist the Superintendent, oversee trades, maintain drawings/specs, monitor inventory, and help implement QA and safety programs. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

This role requires travel within the contiguous United States and Hawaii and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or experience.
• Minimum 3 years in the construction trades with strong communication.
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam and Excel for project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily onsite construction operations.
• Ensure construction activities meet high organizational standards.
• Oversee trades and subcontractors per Superintendent directions.
• Maintain up-to-date drawings and specifications.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies and equipment.
• Assist in QA and safety program development and implementation.
• Inspect work in progress to ensure workmanship and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
