Job summary

Stellar is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for the Buffalo, NY area to support daily field office operations and ensure on-site construction activities meet the highest standards. You will work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate trades, manage drawings, and track progress.

This role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, plus willingness to travel up to 75% within the contiguous United States and Hawaii.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing the daily operations of the construction department.
• Coordinate all trades and subcontractors per Superintendent's direction.
• Maintain and distribute up-to-date drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project progress and report milestones and issues.
• Assist in scheduling and planning construction activities; ensure quality and safety policies are followed.
