Job summary

Stellar in Seymour, IN is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily field operations. The role collaborates with the Superintendent to ensure construction activities meet project standards and schedules on site.

You will manage trades, review drawings, coordinate supplies, monitor progress, and help implement quality and safety policies, while maintaining clear communication across other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent (3) of experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing the daily operations of the construction department.
• Ensure all construction activities meet the organization's high standards.
• Oversee and coordinate all trades on the project, including subcontractors.
• Maintain and distribute up-to-date drawings and specifications.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate supplies and equipment onsite.
• Monitor project progress and report milestones and issues.
