Job summary

WSH Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Community Manager for an 82-unit affordable senior housing community in California. You will oversee rent collection, leasing, resident relations, and daily operations while supervising a Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with LIHTC and Fair Housing regulations. The role emphasizes occupancy, asset preservation, and strong vendor coordination in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years on-site as a Property Manager, or 5 years as an Assistant Manager for a 100+ unit community.
• Affordable housing experience preferred; Tax Credit experience strongly preferred.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred; Fair Housing certification required prior to working with prospects or residents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365; Yardi and RentCafe experience preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financials: rent rolls, delinquencies, reports and annual budgets.
• Maximize occupancy and manage leasing workflow from marketing to move-ins.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, Fair Housing, and company policies.
• Lead maintenance scheduling and supervise the Maintenance Technician.
• Coordinate vendor/contractor communications and review invoices.
• Prepare and submit timely financial reports and ensure funds are handled properly.
• Lead safety and emergency response planning for the community.
• Foster resident relations and implement retention initiatives.
