Job summary

Associa seeks an Onsite General Manager to run daily operations of a community in Kissimmee, FL. You will implement policies, supervise staff, manage budgets, facilities, and reporting to the Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with laws.

The ideal candidate holds a FL LCAM license, an Associate or Bachelor's degree, food service certification, and strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Florida LCAM license required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Food Service Certification (FSC) or willingness to obtain.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong leadership abilities and comfort with public speaking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities.
• Professional and respectful demeanor with all staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of Board policy and directives within scope of management agreement.
• Supervise all staff at the community.
• Oversee amenities such as tiki bar, sundry shop, and others.
• Assist with hiring, training, supervising, and performance management.
• Prepare schedules and establish priorities for routine and special work projects.
• Assist with annual budget.
• Oversee association operations per management agreement and policies.
• Act as liaison with the Board of Directors and homeowners.
• Review monthly financial reports and present management summary to the Board.
• Provide recommendations to the Board on major capital expenditures.
• Attend Board meetings and community events as needed.
• Prepare Board packages within established time frames.
• Maintain unit and contract files related to operations.
• Coordinate with ARB on architectural reviews and inspections.
• Oversee vendor management and performance evaluations.
