Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will assist the Community Manager, supervise staff, and help ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes delinquency control, rent collection, budgeting, and leasing activities while maintaining excellent customer service and a strong team dynamic onsite.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under supervision.
• Post payments and income accurately from all residents and applicants.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor bad debt.
• Support budgeted revenues/expenses and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill utilities where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files for accuracy.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
