Job summary

Asset Living in the United States is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily housing operations under the Community Manager, focusing on rent collection, accounting, leasing, and staff supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent housing experience, basic computer skills, knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA, and a commitment to on-site leadership, resident satisfaction, and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years housing industry experience preferred.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income for residents accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, late notices, evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Conduct end-of-month closings and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
