Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community, reporting to the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, accounts receivable, and occupancy-related tasks while supporting staff actions and compliance with policies.

The role emphasizes loaning and leasing strategies, budget achievement, and strong customer service in a fast-paced, live-on-site setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or 2 years housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting payments and income accurately for all residents.
• Reconciling daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt including notices and evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues and NOI.
• Oversee leasing, maintenance, admin, and risk management in absence of Community Manager.
