Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily housing operations under the Community Manager, with focus on rent collection and financial stewardship. You will supervise onsite staff, ensure compliance with policies, and help drive property performance.

Responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling accounts, handling delinquencies, and supporting timely month-end closings. Strong communication and Fair Housing knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years housing industry experience.
• Ability to operate onsite software and manage financial records.
• Experience with fair housing guidelines and OSHA basics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations under Community Manager supervision.
• Manage rent collection, posting payments, and account reconciliation.
• Monitor delinquency and support budgeted revenues and NOI.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Post charges, issue notices, and finalize month-end close.
• Maintain organized records and conduct property inspections.
